God keeps His promises! He said, in His word, that He has prepared a place for those who love Him. The Bible describes heaven and eternity so beautifully, but in these earthly bodies, we still can’t even begin to imagine what the things are or look like that God has prepared for those who love Him! Don’t miss out, show your love for God by obeying His word. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 2

HOW DO YOU OBEY GOD’S WORD? WHAT MUST YOU DO TO BE SAVED? OBEY WHAT JESUS’ DISCIPLES PREACHED IN THE BOOK OF ACTS (see Acts 2:37-39 below). GOD’S SPIRIT WILL LEAD AND GUIDE YOU INTO A LIFE THAT PLEASES GOD. Acts 2:37  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Acts 2:38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:39  For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 3John 17:20  Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 

WATCH AND PRAY THAT YOU MAY BE ACCOUNTED WORTHY TO ESCAPE Luke 21:36 “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”4

The Thousand YearsRevelation 20:1-6  And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,  And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. WESLEY'S NOTES FOR REVELATION 20:6 THEY SHALL BE PRIESTS OF GOD AND OF CHRIST - THEREFORE CHRIST IS GOD. Revelation 2:10-11  Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. 9

You could be one of them!REVELATION 20:6“BLESSED AND HOLY IS HE THAT HATH PART IN THE FIRST RESURRECTION: ON SUCH THE SECOND DEATH HATH NO POWER, BUT THEY SHALL BE PRIESTS OF GOD AND OF CHRIST, AND SHALL REIGN WITH HIM A THOUSAND YEARS.”Revelation 20:4-6 mentions a “first resurrection” and identifies those involved as “blessed and holy.” The second death (the lake of fire, Revelation 20:14) has no power over these individuals. The first resurrection, then, is the raising of all believers. The Defeat of SatanRevelation 20:7-15  And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.  And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Judgment Before the Great White Throne And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. 11

THE NEW HEAVEN AND THE NEW EARTHRevelation 21:1-4  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven,prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 12

NEW JERUSALEM: WALL OF JASPER, CITY IS PURE GOLDRevelation 21:15-18  And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. DON’T YOU WANT TO LIVE IN THAT CITY? YOU CAN. OBEY GOD’S WORD.WOW! Just look at what God is preparing for those who love Him.1313

 Revelation 21:21-27 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. 14THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY AND THE LAMB ARE THE TEMPLE OF THE NEW JERUSALEM. THERE IS NO SUN OR MOON, FOR THE GLORY OF GOD LIGHTENS IT, AND THE LAMB IS THE LIGHT THEREOF.WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PLACE THE NEW JERUSALEM IS. WE MUST NOT MISS OUT ON SUCH A WONDERFUL PLACE THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.

THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE WALL OF THE CITY OF THE NEW JERUSALEMTHE NEW JERUSALEMRevelation 21:19-20  And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The Bible commands and teaches the necessity of water baptism for the New Testament Church so it is our responsibility to obey this command. One day each of us will account for our lives. Since we have God’s Word, ignorance will not be an acceptable excuse on that day. There are many different opinions about water baptism that we cannot depend on. We must depend only upon the word of God to find the truth.John 3:3,5  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God, Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. YOU MUST BE BORN OF WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD. YOU DO THAT BY OBEYING WHAT THE DISCIPLES TAUGHT IN ACTS 2:38 AND OTHER PARTS OF THE BOOK OF ACTS.Both the context of that statement and the subsequent practice of the New Testament church, in baptizing people, indicate that He was speaking of water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.Colossians 2:9-10  For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 19Acts 2:38-39  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

John 17:17  Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. John 17:18  As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. John 17:19  And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. John 17:20  Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; Some people will tell you they would rather believe Jesus then to believe Peter when they quote Matthew 28:19 … compared to Acts 2:38 in regards to which name to baptize people in. They should read John 17:20 to see that Jesus is praying for those who believe on him through the words of the disciples. As you read the book of Acts, you will notice that the only name Jesus’ disciples baptized people in was in the name of Jesus Christ.Galatians 1:8  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 22

GOD SAID HE WOULD POUR OUT OF HIS SPIRIT UPON ALL FLESH … AND HE DID, ON THE DAY OF PENTECOST, JUST LIKE HE SAID HE WOULD DO! AND HE IS STILL DOING IT TODAY! Acts 2:14-18But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.  But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:Joel 2:28-29 The Lord Will Pour Out His Spirit  And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:  And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. 23

Acts 2:37-39  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. WHAT MUST YOU DO TO BE SAVED? OBEY GOD’S WORD BY REPENTING OF YOUR SINS (BE SORRY FOR YOUR SINS AND BE WILLING TO TURN FROM THEM), GET BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS FOR THE REMISSION OF YOUR SINS AND ALLOW GOD TO FILL YOU WITH THE HOLY GHOST, WITH THE EVIDENCE OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES. 24Ask the Lord to forgive you for all the bad things (called sins) that you have done, and He will. You don’t have to worry about how many sins you can name … God knows what they are. All you have to do is repent, asking Him to forgive you of those sins. Then begin thanking and praising Him in your own words.

AFTER PAUL EXPLAINED THE GOSPEL TO JOHN’S DISCIPLES, THEY WERE RE-BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS AND WERE FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST, SPEAKING IN TONGUES AS THE SPIRIT GAVE THEM THE UTTERANCE. WE MUST DO THE SAME!PAUL IN EPHESUSActs 19:1-6  And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. Many people have been baptized in some other name. After seeing in the word of God that they should get baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of their sins, they obey it and get baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins. WE ALL MUST DO THIS SAME THING THAT THE DISCIPLES OF JOHN AND OTHERS IN THE BOOK OF ACTS DID: Get baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins and get filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance!25

ACTS 5:32 AND WE ARE HIS WITNESSES OF THESE THINGS; AND SO IS ALSO THE HOLY GHOST, WHOM GOD HATH GIVEN TO THEM THAT OBEY HIM. One of the questions asked regarding Acts 5:32 is that it is impossible to obey God before receiving His Spirit. For that reason, it would be impossible to receive God's Spirit if obedience were a requirement. The answer to this question is given in Acts 2:37-38, that reveals the requirement to receive the Holy Spirit.Acts 2:37-38  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. We find two basic requirements to receive His Spirit: repentance and 2. baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. (Baptism is an outward confession of this faith in Christ's sacrifice.)26

Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus! Below are some praises some people say as they pray to receive the Holy Spirit. They are not useless words to say, they are true words of worship, if your heart is into what you are saying.USE WHATEVER PRAISES YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE SAYING. JUST BE SINCERE IN WHAT YOU SAY. 27

Speak out loud as you praise the Lord. By that we mean use your voice to praise the Lord, instead of whispering or speaking in silence. It allows the Holy Spirit to use your voice, as He gives the utterance, and as a result, proves that God has filled you with the Holy Ghost.So, open your mouth and begin praising the Lord out loud. 28

That doesn’t mean you have to scream. It simply means use your voice so that you will know when God has filled you with His Spirit. God’s Spirit is His Seal. It is His Witness and His Proof that shows you now belong to Him. NO OTHER RELIGION HAS THE SEAL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT that shows a person has been filled with the Holy Ghost. THE PROOF: every time a person is filled with the Holy Ghost, he/she speaks in tongues as the Spirit gives them the utterance.(Read the book of Acts and see for yourself that this is true) God does not leave His children in doubt or cause them to have to wonder: Did God really fill me with His Holy Spirit? They will know that they have been filled because they will hear themselves speaking in tongues, as the Spirit gives them the utterance.2 Timothy 2:19  Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.Ephesians 1:13-14  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. 29

Usually, after praising and worshipping the Lord for a while in your own known language, your tongue and lips will start moving very quickly. That’s called stammering lips!As your faith increases, you will begin trusting and believing God is going to fill you with His Spirit. Continue believing God as you expect it to happen to you, and it will.30

Enjoy the presence of the Lord as you praise and worship Him. Don’t let anything distract you, as your faith grows stronger, knowing that God will keep His promise and fill you with His precious Holy Spirit. It is a gift from God to you. You do not have to beg Him for it. Just keep praising and worshipping the Lord and it will happen.BEGIN PRAISING AND WORSHIPPING THE LORD31Closing your eyes may help you stay focused on the LORD as you worship Him.

Some people are more emotional then others, so you may hear some people speaking VERY loudly as they worship. Try not to let it distract you. Just continue focusing on the Lord as you praise and worship Him. If you stay focused on the Lord, you will be surprised how quickly you will lose focus on the person who is a bit loud and very emotional in their worship. 32STAY FOCUSED ON THE LORD AS YOU WORSHIP HIM

Lift up your hands and begin praising the Lord. Some people are more easily distracted than others, that is why many times people are encouraged to close their eyes while praying to receive the Holy Spirit.Keep all of your attention on the LORD as you praise and worship Him.33

Many times, people feel God’s presence all around them and over them, but that does not mean God has filled them with His Holy Spirit, yet. 34

Some people think God has filled them with His Spirit because they feel good, feel happy, or cry. You must not depend on feelings. When you receive the Holy Ghost, you will hear yourself speak in tongues.35

Some people think when their lips are stammering, they have been filled with the Holy Ghost.They are wrong! Stammering is something that usually happens just before the words the Holy Ghost is giving you to speak turns into a clear language. When stammering begins, yield yourself to God’s Spirit by allowing the words to change. For example, if you were praising the Lord in English, and the Holy Spirit begins to form words in your mouth, don’t try to continue speaking in English. Just allow the Holy Spirit to change your words into the words He wants you to speak.36

Many people think that because God healed them they must be saved, or they think that because God delivered them from an evil spirit they must be saved, or they think that because they felt joy they must be saved.37BUT, ARE THEY SAVED?

LET’S READ WHAT ROMANS 8:9-11 SAYS.Romans 8:9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Romans 8:10  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Romans 8:11  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 38

Those in the Bible, as recorded in the Book of Acts, were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues as the Spirit gave them the words to speak.Those in the Bible did! We did! Others did! And so will you!39

Some people don’t pray in the Holy Ghost for long periods of time. It causes some to lose faith and it becomes difficult for them to believe and begin speaking in tongues again, at least not without a lot of struggle to do so. Some think because they can’t speak in tongues again, they have lost the Holy Ghost. Jesus said He would never leave us, but the Bible tells us to stir up the gift that is in us. In order for you to not go through the difficult struggle of trying to speak in tongues again, don’t wait for a long time to speak in tongues; pray in the Holy Ghost often, even daily.ONCE YOU HAVE BEEN FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, PRAY IN TONGUES OFTEN … DAILY IS EVEN BETTER!40

Ephesians 1:13-14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. BELIEVE AND TRUST THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST!41

NUMBERS 23:19  GOD IS NOT A MAN, THAT HE SHOULD LIE; NEITHER THE SON OF MAN, THAT HE SHOULD REPENT: HATH HE SAID, AND SHALL HE NOT DO IT? OR HATH HE SPOKEN, AND SHALL HE NOT MAKE IT GOOD? GOD NEVER LIES! He always keeps his promises. Jesus said except a man be born again of the water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God (John 3:3-7), and that is true. Jesus also said that if anyone asked the Heavenly Father for the Holy Spirit, He would give it to them (Luke 11:13), and He has kept that promise since the day of Pentecost. It is very urgent that you ask, believe, and receive the promise of God, today!42To pinky swear , or make a pinky promise, is when two people entwine their pinky fingers to signify that a promise has been made.

John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; 43

I AM THE WAY, AND THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFEJohn 14:1-14  Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.  In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.  And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.  Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.  Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.  And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 44

WARNING: All churches are not the same, so it is extremely important that you make sure that the church you plan on attending or becoming a member of is teaching what the disciples in the book of Acts taught about salvation, which is baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and be filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives you the utterance, and live holy lives, as led by the Holy Spirit. Make sure the church you plan on attending or becoming a member of is not telling you to do foolish things such as handle snakes, drink poison, eat grass, or any other foolish things. NO ONE KNOWS THAT DAY AND HOUR JESUS IS COMING BACKMatthew 24:36-44  But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.   For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,  And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.  Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.   Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.  But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.  Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. 47
