Basic Sentence Structure
All sentences must have this minimum structure:

S+V_____________________.

Margaret lost her job.

John crashed the party, Jim crashed the car.
John crashed the party, Jim crashed the car.

Three Types of Fragments
Subject error
Verb Error
Incomplete Idea Error

Subject Error
Lost her job.

Who?

Verb Error
Margaret losing her job.

Incomplete Idea Error
Since Margaret lost her job.

Fix by Subtracting or Adding:

Since Margaret lost her job. (Delete "Since")

or Since Margaret lost her job, she moved in with her mother.
