Contrast Photography
I have chosen to base my photography project on contrast photography. Contrast photography is used to show differences between 2 or more items, such as showing the differences between emotions, with a good example being showing the contrast between happiness and sadness.

Inspiration
After researching various contrast photographers, I decided that Nancy Alford was my favourite. I liked how she contrasted colour from dull and bleak on one side, yet bright and colourful, which seemed more joyous on the other. However, on the website which I saw her work on, I couldn’t copy my favourite photo.

Contrast of Colours
I have decided that I am going to contrasts of colours, in which I will contrast a bright colour, and a dull colour and this will make it contrast, and it will have the effect of making the bright colours stand out amongst the dull colours, as shown in the picture to the left. It can show the emotion of happiness amongst the sadness.

Displaying my Work
To display my work, I want to make a book. I think that it will be good to have a book which will be in a chronological order to see how my work/photography has progressed, and how time affects images that can be captured due to change of light and weather.
