It is known as a production which is not lengthy enough to be classified as a feature film.  They are motion pictures which are known to be up to 40 minutes long, although much shorter films have and can be made.‘Turning point’, the short film I have analysed in my previous post is an example whereby, time has been used efficiently.

WHO WATCHES SHORT FILMS?

Individuals who are passionate about filmIndependent film makers who do not have the funds required to fund a feature film and its production.Unemployed students, who seek inspiration from a vast majority of media aspects.People who have already had experience in film making, and are perhaps looking for new concepts and ideas.

HOW ARE THEY PROMOTED?

THERE ARE SEVERAL COMPANIES WHICH ENABLE SHORT FILMS TO BE RECOGNISED: Film-Festival : provides possibly beneficial encounters between aspiring film-makers and directors, producers etc, whilst also sharing productions with the general public.
