1HAVE YOU BEEN CHOSEN TO LIVE WITH GOD FOREVER?Prepared by apostolictruth7, with the help of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. YouTube Channel: apostolictruth7. Instrumental music by Victor Murray. “What you must do to be saved” slides from some of my other videos are also included in this video presentation.

2I AM THE DOOR; BY ME IF ANY MAN ENTERHE SHALL BE SAVED, AND SHALL BE SAVEDJohn 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Some people start out following Jesus but because of various reasons, they stop following him. Don’t let that be you. Many are called but few are chosen. There is a way you can be chosen! How? By becoming one of Jesus' sheep, and continue living for him until he comes back for his Born Again Church! (Jesus’ sheep are people who are born again of the water and of the Spirit. That means they have repented of their sins, and are filled with the Holy Ghost … with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. Them speaking in tongues is proof that they have been filled with the Holy Ghost. And, they are led by the Spirit to obey the things that Jesus said). John 14:26 John Gill Commentary he shall teach you all things: this is the proper work and business of the Spirit, to teach, interpret, and explain all things which Christ had said to them; to make them more plain and easy to their understandings; to instruct them in all things necessary to salvation, and to be known by them, that they might teach them to others:2

3I AM THE DOOR; BY ME IF ANY MAN ENTERHE SHALL BE SAVED, AND SHALL BE SAVEDJohn 10:1-9  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.  John 10:10,14 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.  I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. JESUS IS THE IS THE DOOR (GATE)! JESUS IS THE GOOD SHEPHERD WHO LOOKS AFTER HIS SHEEP. HE IS SO WORTH US FOLLOWING HIM. HIS WAYS ARE PERFECT. THANK YOU DEAR LORD JESUS FOR LOVING US SO MUCH!3

4JESUS IS THE DOORJOHN 10:9  I AM THE DOOR:BY ME IF ANY MAN ENTER IN…HE SHALL BE SAVED, AND SHALL GO IN AND OUT, AND FIND PASTURE. JOHN 14:6  JESUS SAITH UNTO HIM, I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE: NO MAN COMETH UNTO THE FATHER, BUT BY MEJOHN 10:14  I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD, AND KNOW MY SHEEP, AND AM KNOWN OF MINE. LUKE 13:24  STRIVE TO ENTER IN AT THE STRAIT GATE: FOR MANY, I SAY UNTO YOU, WILL SEEK TO ENTER IN, AND SHALL NOT BE ABLE. JOHN 3:16  FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. JOHN 3:17  FOR GOD SENT NOT HIS SON INTO THE WORLD TO CONDEMN THE WORLD; BUT THAT THE WORLD THROUGH HIM MIGHT BE SAVED. 4

55Wait a minute! This is not the gate that leads to Jesus!MATTHEW7:13-14  ENTER YE IN AT THE STRAIT GATE: FOR WIDE IS THE GATE, AND BROAD IS THE WAY, THAT LEADETH TO DESTRUCTION, AND MANY THERE BE WHICH GO IN THEREAT:  BECAUSE STRAIT IS THE GATE, AND NARROW IS THE WAY, WHICH LEADETH UNTO LIFE, AND FEW THERE BE THAT FIND IT. LUKE 13:24 STRIVE TO ENTER IN AT THE STRAIT GATE: FOR MANY, I SAY UNTO YOU, WILL SEEK TO ENTER IN, AND SHALL NOT BE ABLE. 5

6There is still time for you to obey the gospel of Jesus Christ as taught by his disciples before the invitation to enter the gate of salvation is closed. You don’t have to be left behind when Jesus comes for his born again church. If you are a backslider, the horror of missing the Rapture will be beyond any words I can express. I beg you to return to Jesus before it is too late. Loving this world is not worth losing your soul. You know that God still loves you, but he won’t force you to return to him. The choice to do so is up to you.6

7JOSHUA 24:14-15 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.  And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: BUT AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD. 2 CORINTHIANS 6:2  (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) Succoured: helped

8Luke 12:40  Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.. Matthew 24:44  Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

92 PETER 3:9  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. HEBREWS 2:3-4  How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;  God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? 9

10God does not want anyone to be lost. However, he will not force his will upon us. The decision to accept his Son as our Savior is totally up to us. I pray you will accept his invitation today.10

11NO ONE KNOWS THAT DAY AND HOUR JESUS IS COMING BACK, SO PLEASE BE READY!Matthew 24:36-42 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

12Ezekiel 18:32  For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. The WORD OF GOD warns us that wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, but, sadly many ignore his warnings and enter it anyway. Please don’t let that be said of you on that day we all must stand before the Son of God and give an answer as to why we ignored his warnings. It does not give the Lord pleasure to see a sinner die. It is his will that no one perishes, but should repent and live. There will be no excuses acceptable when we stand before the Son of God; for Jesus gave his all so that we can be saved. Now is the day of salvation. After death, it is too late.2 Peter 3:9  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 12

13Entering the narrow gate is not easy. Jesus made this clear when He instructed His followers to “strive” to do so. The Greek word translated “strive” is agonizomai, from which we get the English word agonize. The implication here is that those who seek to enter the narrow gate must do so by struggle and strain, like a running athlete straining toward the finish line, all muscles taut and giving his all in the effort. But we must be clear here.No amount of effort saves us; salvation is by the grace of God through the gift of faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). No one will ever earn heaven by striving for it. But entering the narrow gate is still difficult because of the opposition of human pride, our natural love of sin, and the opposition of satan and the world in his control, all of which battle against us in the pursuit of eternity. https://www.gotquestions.org/narrow-gate.htmlMATTHEW 7:13 ENTER YE IN AT THE STRAIT GATE: FOR WIDE IS THE GATE, AND BROAD IS THE WAY, THAT LEADETH TO DESTRUCTION, AND MANY THERE BE WHICH GO IN THEREAT: 13

14 2 Timothy 3:4  TRAITORS, HEADY, HIGHMINDED, LOVERS OF PLEASURES MORE THAN LOVERS OF GOD; 2 Timothy 3:5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

15 2 Timothy 3:1-9  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.   For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,   Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  traitors, heady, highminded, LOVERS OF PLEASURES MORE THAN LOVERS OF GOD; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,   Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.  Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.  GATEWIDE

16There are many unbelievers and false prophets that walk among you. Flee from unbelievers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Do not be deceived by them. They are wolves in sheep clothing walking among you … seeking to turn you from believing the Gospel as taught by Jesus’ disciples. They look and sound like born again Christians, but they preach and teach another gospel that Jesus’ disciples did not teach or preach. Search the scriptures to see if what they are telling you was preached by Jesus’ disciples. The narrow gate is ignored. Most people would rather create their own religions and design their own gods. So it was with sorrow, not discrimination, that Jesus declared that the road to eternal life is "narrow, and only a few find it.“ https://www.gotquestions.org/narrow-gate.html) COLOSSIANS 2:8  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

17COLOSSIANS 2:8-10  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: COLOSSIANS 2:16-23  Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:  Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God. Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,  (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

2 Corinthians 4:3-6 But if Gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:  In whom the god of this world (satan) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. THE TRUTH DOES NOT CHANGE JUST BECAUSE YOU DON’T WANT TO HEAR IT!“But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” Romans 8:918

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:319

2020202020Matthew 25:32-34 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:  And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.  Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over any things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.  Matthew 25:21 20

21HAVE YOU BEEN CHOSEN TO LIVE WITH GOD FOREVER?21

22First of all, I want to share some salvation scriptures regarding belief in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and why we must be born again of the water and of the Spirit.WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?John 3:3-8  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.  The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. 22Just as you hear the wind make a sound, but cannot see it … you will also hear the sound that the Holy Ghost makes as a person is filled with the Holy Ghost. How? You will hear them speak in tongues as the Spirit gives them the utterance. Awesome, isn’t it?

Galatians 1:6  I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Galatians 1:7  Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the Gospel of Christ. Galatians 1:8  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:9  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:10  For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. WARNING: THERE IS ONLY ONE GOSPEL TO PREACH: AND IT IS THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST, THAT THE DISCIPLES PREACHED!Acts 4:12  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Jude 1:3  Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. 23

The Bible commands and teaches the necessity of water baptism for the New Testament Church so it is our responsibility to obey this command. One day each of us will account for our lives. Since we have God’s Word, ignorance will not be an acceptable excuse on that day. There are many different opinions about water baptism that we cannot depend on. We must depend only upon the word of God to find the truth. Both the context of that statement and the subsequent practice of the New Testament church, in baptizing people, indicate that He was speaking of water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.http://www.apostolic-voice.org/why-we-must-be-baptized-in-the-name-of-the-father-son-and-holy-ghostYOU MUST BE BORN OF THE WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT (JOHN 3:3-5) TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD. YOU DO THAT BY OBEYING WHAT THE DISCIPLES TAUGHT ABOUT BEING BORN AGAIN THROUGHOUT THE BOOK OF ACTS.Colossians 2:9-10  For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 24Acts 2:38-39  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. John 3:3,5  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God, Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

25John 6:44 “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Colossians 3:17  And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. 1 Corinthians 1:13  Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? 25John 11:25-26  Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

John 17:17  Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. John 17:18  As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. John 17:19  And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. John 17:20  Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; Some people will tell you they would rather believe Jesus then to believe Peter when they quote Matthew 28:19 … compared to Acts 2:38 in regards to which name to baptize people in. Have them read John 17:20 to see that Jesus is praying for those who believe on him through the words of the disciples. As you read the book of Acts, you will notice that the only name Jesus’ disciples baptized people in was in the name of Jesus.Galatians 1:8  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 26

271 John 3:23-24  And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. John 3:16-21  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. 1 John 5:1-5  Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 27

281 John 5:13  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. John 8:24  I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.Colossians 3:17  And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Acts 4:12  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 2:38-39  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Mark 16:16-17  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; Luke 24:47-49  And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. 28

29Mark 16:15  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Luke 24:45-49  Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. 29

JESUS SAID HIS FATHER WOULD GIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT TO THEM THAT ASK HIM, AND HE DOES.Matthew 7:7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”30Luke 11:9-13And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

31John 14:15-29  If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you ANOTHER COMFORTER, THAT HE MAY ABIDE WITH YOU FOR EVER; EVEN THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.  I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU COMFORTLESS: I WILL COME TO YOU. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.  HE THAT HATH MY COMMANDMENTS, AND KEEPETH THEM, HE IT IS THAT LOVETH ME: AND HE THAT LOVETH ME SHALL BE LOVED OF MY FATHER, AND I WILL LOVE HIM, AND WILL MANIFEST MYSELF TO HIM. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.  He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.  BUT THE COMFORTER, WHICH IS THE HOLY GHOST, WHOM THE FATHER WILL SEND IN MY NAME, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.  I WILL PRAY THE FATHER, AND HE SHALL GIVE YOU ANOTHER COMFORTER, THAT HE MAY ABIDE WITH YOU FOR EVER, EVEN THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH … HE SHALL BE IN YOU … I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU COMFORTLESS, I WILL COME TO YOU.31

32Acts 10:45  And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 10:46  For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Acts 10:47  Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? GOD SAID HE WOULD POUR OUT OF HIS SPIRIT UPON ALL FLESH … AND HE DID, ON THE DAY OF PENTECOST, JUST LIKE HE SAID HE WOULD DO! AND HE IS STILL DOING IT TODAY! THE COMING OF THE HOLY SPIRITActs 2:1-4  And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.32

Acts 2:14-18 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.  But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:Joel 2:28-29   And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:  And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. 33Isaiah 28:11  For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. Isaiah 28:12  To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

Acts 19:1-6  And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.  Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. 34Acts 18:26  And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus. This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.  And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

35Ezekiel 18:32  For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. GOD DOES NOT HAVE PLEASURE IN THE DEATH OF A SINNERA. How God Views The Death Of Both The Saint And Sinner:1. How does God view the death of the sinner? (Is He glad?) (Ezekiel 33:11) “Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked . . . “a. Since the fall, Satan has been trying to ruin God’s creation.(John 8:44) “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”b. (John 10:10) “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”c. God takes no pleasure in the death of the sinner. (Ruined!) http://www.northjardotchurchofchrist.org/uploads/5/1/7/4/5174974/deathofsaintssinnerspdf.pdfEzekiel 33:11  Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? 35

36GOD TAKES PLEASURE IN THE DEATH OF HIS SAINTS2. How does God view the death of the saint? (Is He saddened?)a. It may seem strange, but it gives God pleasure when a saint dies!(Psalm 116:15) “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.”b. Why is this? How can God be happy when a child of God dies?c. He’s happy because He’s able to give them the glory of heaven!(Matthew 25:31-34) “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”d. He is happy because Satan was not able to ruin the saint’s soul!http://www.northjardotchurchofchrist.org/uploads/5/1/7/4/5174974/deathofsaintssinnerspdf.pdf36

GOD’S THOUGHTS FOR YOU ARE GOOD THOUGHTS!37Jeremiah 29:11-13  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. 37

…but search with all your heart. On the other hand, don’t leave your heart behind either. God doesn’t want you to merely find out about him, he wants you to actually find him — he wants you to know him personally and have a relationship with him. A relationship that involves intellect with no heart is no relationship at all. https://powertochange.com/students/faith/searchforgod/38

39OKAY… HERE GOES.WHAT YOU MUST DO TO BE SAVED!39

ACTS 5:32 AND WE ARE HIS WITNESSES OF THESE THINGS; AND SO IS ALSO THE HOLY GHOST, WHOM GOD HATH GIVEN TO THEM THAT OBEY HIM. Acts 2:37-38  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Two basic requirements to receive the Holy Spirit: Repentance and Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.40

Acts 2:37-39  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. WHAT MUST YOU DO TO BE SAVED? OBEY GOD’S WORD BY REPENTING OF YOUR SINS. BE WILLING TO TURN FROM THEM, GET BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS FOR THE REMISSION OF YOUR SINS AND ALLOW GOD TO FILL YOU WITH THE HOLY GHOST, WITH THE EVIDENCE OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES. Ask the Lord to forgive you for all the sins that you have done, and He will. You don’t have to worry about how many sins you can name … God knows what they are. All you have to do is repent, asking Him to forgive you of those sins. Then begin thanking and praising Him in your own words. 41

AFTER PAUL EXPLAINED THE GOSPEL TO JOHN’S DISCIPLES, THEY OBEYED PAUL .WE MUST DO THE SAME! READ THE SCRIPTURE BELOW TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED.Acts 19:1-6  And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. Even if a person has been baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, it is not the name they are to be baptized in. They must do like John’s disciples did after they hear the true Gospel and be baptized in the name of Jesus. Why is this important? It is to be done in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins.42Acts 4:12 says “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Colossians 3:17 says “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him”. 42

After you have repented of your sins, it’s time to pray for God to fill you with his Spirit. (Some of you may already be baptized in the name of Jesus. If not, make sure you get baptized right away, even if you have been filled with the Holy Ghost. Remember, the reason you get baptized in the name of Jesus is for the remission of your sins. Some of you may already be filled with the Holy Ghost, if not make sure you have someone pray with you to receive the Holy Ghost, for if you are not filled with the Spirit of Christ, Romans 8:9 says you don’t belong to Jesus.)43

Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus! Below are some praises some people say as they pray to receive the Holy Spirit. They are not useless words to say, they are true words of worship, if your heart is into what you are saying.USE WHATEVER PRAISES YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE SAYING. JUST BE SINCERE IN WHAT YOU SAY. 44

Speak out loud as you praise the Lord. By that we mean use your voice to praise the Lord, instead of whispering or speaking in silence. It allows the Holy Spirit to use your voice, as He gives the utterance, and as a result, proves that God has filled you with the Holy Ghost. That doesn’t mean you have to scream. It simply means use your voice so that you will know when God has filled you with His Spirit. God’s Spirit is His Seal. It is His Witness and His Proof that shows you now belong to Him. NO OTHER RELIGION HAS THE SEAL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT that shows a person has been filled with the Holy Ghost. THE PROOF: every time a person is filled with the Holy Ghost, he/she speaks in tongues as the Spirit gives them the utterance. (Read the book of Acts and see for yourself that this is true) 45

God does not leave His children in doubt or cause them to have to wonder: Did God really fill me with His Holy Spirit? They will know that they have been filled because they will hear themselves speaking in tongues, as the Spirit gives them the utterance.Ephesians 1:13-14  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. 46

Usually, after praising and worshipping the Lord for a while in your own known language, your tongue and lips will start moving very quickly. That’s called stammering lips!ALL YOU NEED IS A LITTLE BIT OF FAITH!As your faith increases, you will begin trusting and believing God is going to fill you with His Spirit. Continue believing God as you expect it to happen to you, and it will.47

Some people are more emotional then others, so you may hear some people speaking VERY loudly as they worship the Lord. Try not to let it distract you. Just continue focusing on the Lord as you praise and worship Him. If you stay focused on the Lord, you will be surprised how quickly you will lose focus on the person who is a bit loud and very emotional in their worship. 48STAY FOCUSED ON THE LORD AS YOU WORSHIP HIM

Enjoy the presence of the Lord as you praise and worship Him. Don’t let anything distract you as your faith grows stronger, knowing that God will keep His promise and fill you with His precious Holy Spirit. It is a gift from God to you. You do not have to beg Him for it. Just keep praising and worshipping the Lord and it will happen.49

Begin praising the Lord in your own language. Your own language will change as soon as God fills you with the Holy Ghost. And instead of continuing to speak your own language, you will begin speaking in a language given to you by the Holy Spirit. ISN’T THAT AWESOME? Some people are more easily distracted than others, that is why many times people are encouraged to close their eyes while praying to receive the Holy Spirit.50

Some people think when their lips are stammering, they have been filled with the Holy Ghost. They are wrong! Stammering is something that usually happens just before the words the Holy Ghost is giving you to speak turns into a clear language. When stammering begins, yield yourself to God’s Spirit by allowing the words to change. For example, if you were praising the Lord in English, and the Holy Spirit begins to form words in your mouth, don’t try to continue speaking in English. Just allow the Holy Spirit to change your words into the words He wants you to speak.51

Some people think God has filled them with His Spirit because they feel good, feel happy, or cry. You must not depend on feelings. When you receive the Holy Ghost, you will hear yourself speak in tongues. Many people think that because God healed them they must be saved, or they think that because God delivered them from an evil spirit they must be saved, or they think that because they felt joy they must be saved.52BUT, ARE THEY SAVED?

LET’S READ WHAT ROMANS 8:9-11 SAYS.Romans 8:9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, IF so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. NOW IF ANY MAN HAVE NOT THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST, HE IS NONE OF HIS. Romans 8:10  And IF CHRIST BE IN YOU, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Romans 8:11  But IF THE SPIRIT OF HIM THAT RAISED UP JESUS FROM THE DEAD DWELL IN YOU, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies BY HIS SPIRIT THAT DWELLETH IN YOU. (quicken: make alive)53

IF YOU FEEL YOU HAVE NOT BEEN CALLED AND CHOSEN, DON’T DESPAIR. God really does want to fill you with his Spirit. If you want it, all you have to do is ask him for it. Repent of your sins and he will give it to you, exactly as it happened on the day of Pentecost, and as it happened as recorded throughout the book of Acts. Many people in the Bible and people even up to this date have been and are being filled with the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues as the Spirit gave them the utterance.Luke 11:13  If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? 54

ONCE YOU HAVE BEEN FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST, PRAY IN TONGUES DAILY!Some people don’t pray in tongues for long periods of time. It causes some to lose faith and think they have lost the Holy Spirit, and/or it becomes difficult for them to believe and begin speaking in tongues again, at least not without a lot of struggle to do so. That is one reason I encourage you to pray in tongues daily.55

Luke 21:34-36  And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. 5656PLEASE STAY ALERT … FOR WE DON’T KNOW WHEN JESUS IS COMING BACK FOR HIS CHURCH. NOTHING WOULD BE WORSE THEN MISSING JESUS WHEN HE COMES FOR HIS CHURCH, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. SO STAY READY!

5757If we never meet in this life, I pray we will all be accounted worthy to go back with Jesus when He comes for His Church. It is my prayer that many of us will greet each other with unspeakable joy as we GREET ONE ANOTHER on that glorious day, praising God for His Son Jesus Christ who made it possible for us to live with Him forever with no end. THANK GOD FOR HIS AMAZING GRACE! OH, I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT A GREAT REUNION DAY THAT IS GOING TO BE!

Below is a link that I found online that has an index listing of some Apostolic Pentecostal churches located in various countries inside and outside the USA.I am not familiar with all the churches on the list. WARNING: All churches are not the same, so it is extremely important that you make sure that the church you plan on attending or becoming a member of is teaching what the disciples in the book of Acts taught about salvation, which is: repenting from sins, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and be filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives you the utterance, and live holy lives, as led by the Holy Spirit. Make sure the church you plan on attending or becoming a member of is not telling you to do foolish things such as handle snakes, drink poison, eat grass, or any other foolish things. 65WISDOM FROM THE SPIRIT1 Corinthians 2:7  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 1 Corinthians 2:8  Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 1 Corinthians 2:9  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Corinthians 2:10  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:11  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians 2:12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 1 Corinthians 2:13  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1 Corinthians 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2:15  But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 1 Corinthians 2:16  For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. 65

70Philippians 2:6  Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:John 5:18  Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. Hebrews 1:3  Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Colossians 2:1  For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; Colossians 2:2  That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; Colossians 2:3  In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:4  And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. Colossians 2:5  For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. PHILIPPIANS 2:6  WHO, BEING IN THE FORM OF GOD, THOUGHT IT NOT ROBBERY TO BE EQUAL WITH GOD: 1 Timothy 3:16  And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Hebrews 1:3  Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.70

71ALIVE IN CHRISTColossians 2:6  As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Colossians 2:7  Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Colossians 2:8  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Colossians 2:9  For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2:10  And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: Colossians 2:11  In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Colossians 2:12  Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. Colossians 2:13  And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Colossians 2:14  Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; Colossians 2:15  And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Let No One Disqualify YouColossians 2:16  Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Colossians 2:17  Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. Colossians 2:18  Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, Colossians 2:19  And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God. Colossians 2:20  Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, Colossians 2:21  (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Colossians 2:22  Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Colossians 2:23  Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh. 71
