EVANGELISM. If this video moves too fast, press pause and continue at your own pace. This video is to reach people who need an idea on how to present the Apostolic Pentecostal Gospel that the disciples of Jesus taught and to give understanding to all those who have never been born again, but need and want to know how to yield themselves to God to be filled with His Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Please view my other videos that are on these sites: YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK, VIMEO, PINTEREST, POWERSHOW.COM, SLIDESERVE.COM, SLIDEONLINE.COM. Icons of my videos on YouTube are shown on the last page of this presentation. My channel or user name is: apostolictruth7. The videos contain a lot of scriptures explaining in more debt what it means to be born again of the water and of the Spirit (which is baptism in the name of Jesus for the remission of sin and being filled with the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Read Acts 2:38). Read the whole book of Acts to see for yourself how the disciples baptized people and in whose name the disciples baptized people in. (The name is Jesus). And what happened when people were filled with the Holy Ghost. They spoke in tongues as the Spirit gave them the utterance, AND THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING TODAY TO THOSE WHO ARE FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST. Some of the slides in my videos are similar or duplicates in order that everyone seeking truth about being born again will not miss out on hearing the true salvation message, which is the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. As you may already know, God gave his only Son to die on the cross for our sins. Such love is hard to comprehend, but it is true. And He wants us to live with Him for all eternity. But, if we are not filled with His Spirit, look at what the following scriptures says: “Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Romans 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” If you would like to know what church you can attend that teaches this message, please go to this link: http://apostolicpentecostalchurches.o... It gives a list of many Apostolic Pentecostal churches inside and outside the United States. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: ALL CHURCHES ARE NOT THE SAME, THEREFORE, I AM ADDING THIS WARNING: I am not familiar with all of the churches on the list, so make sure you compare what the church is teaching to what the disciples in the Bible taught about salvation, repentance, baptism, being filled with the Holy Ghost, and holiness. If they teach handling snakes, eating grass or drinking poison or other foolish or unwise things, or tell you it is okay to live ungodly lives that God has said is an abomination, do not be a part of that church.

Acts 18:24 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus. Acts 18:25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. Acts 18:26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly. Acts 18:27 And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace: Acts 18:28 For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ. Prepared by apostolictruth7, with the help of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. YouTube Channel: apostolictruth7. Instrumental music by Victor Murray. CLARK COMMENTARY: Apollo knew the baptism of John; but he knew nothing farther of Jesus Christ than that baptism taught; but, as far as he knew, he taught accurately. Aquila and Priscilla were acquainted with the whole doctrine of the Gospel: the doctrine of Christ dying for our sins, and rising again for our justification; and in this they instructed Apollo; and this was more accurate information than what he had before received, through the medium (the teachings) of John's ministry.Some slides and/or data in this video is also shown in my other videos. See slide 26 for a list of the videos. Or go to YouTube and type in apostolictruth7 in the search bar, it will take you to my YouTube channel.

AQUILA AND PRISCILLA KNEW THAT IT MATTERED!CLARK COMMENTARY: Apollo knew the baptism of John; but he knew nothing farther of Jesus Christ than that baptism taught; but, as far as he knew, he taught accurately. Aquila and Priscilla were acquainted with the whole doctrine of the Gospel: the doctrine of Christ dying for our sins, and rising again for our justification; and in this they instructed Apollo; and this was more accurate information than what he had before received, through the medium (the teachings) of John's ministry.It is so sad to say, but it is difficult to share your faith with some people because of their pride. Even though they see the truth in the Word of God, they don’t want to accept it from you. They seem offended that you are trying to show them a more perfect way. Even though Apollos was an eloquent man, mighty in the scriptures, he did not rebuke Aquila and Priscilla for taking him to themselves to explain to him the more perfect way. A hungry soul for more truth of God’s word will not be offended, but will listen and obey.

AS APOLLOS DID, THE PERSON YOU ARE INSTRUCTING MAY HAVE WALKED WITH THE LORD IN ALL THEY KNEW HOW. EXPLAIN TO THEM THAT THERE IS A MORE PERFECT WAY TO FOLLOW AND OBEY GOD.Acts 18:24 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus. As you open the scriptures, pray within yourself that the person you are instructing will hear and accept the scriptures that explain the way of God more perfectly.3NOT PARTIAL, BUT ALL OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST IS THE MORE PERFECT WAY.

Explain to them that the seed is the Word of God, and people represent the different kinds of ground that the seed falls on. Encourage their faith by telling them that when they hear the word, and receive it, Jesus said they are good ground, and because of that they are ready to trust God to fill them with His Spirit. 4LET THEM READ THAT THERE ARE FOUR TYPES OF GROUND THAT JESUS SAID THE SEED FELL ON.

CONTINUALLY HAVE THE PERSON YOU ARE INSTRUCTING OPEN THEIR BIBLE TO READ ALONG WITH YOU SO THAT THEY WILL SEE FOR THEMSELVES THAT WHAT YOU ARE TELLING THEM IS TRUE.5Mark 4:20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred. Matthew 13:23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. Luke 8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Luke 8:12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. Luke 8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. Luke 8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. Luke 8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. THE SEED IS THE WORD OF GOD!

JESUS SAID, EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN AGAIN OF WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, HE CANNOT SEE OR ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD.Some people get baptized in almost every church they attend. The reason many people continually get baptized is because they never knew in the first place why they were baptized. They usually are not told why. Explain to them that they must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. And they must be filled with the Holy Spirit. Have them turn to Acts 2:37-39 (see slide 7).6John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. John 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? John 3:5 Jesus answered, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:6 that which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:7 marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again. John 3:8 the wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Mark 16:15-18 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

PETER USED THE KEYS FOR THE FIRST TIME ON THE DAY OF PENTECOST: Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. SHOW THEM THAT JESUS GAVE PETER THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM (MATTHEW 16:16-19), AND THAT PETER FIRST USED THE KEYS ON THE DAY OF PENTECOST (ACTS 2:38-39).Matthew 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Matthew 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. Matthew 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. JESUS GAVE PETER THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM.7

SHOW THEM SCRIPTURES THAT SHOW PEOPLE WERE IMMERSED IN WATER, WHEN THEY WERE BAPTIZED, NOT SPRINKLED … AS SOME CHURCHES ARE DOING TODAY.Matthew 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: John 3:23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized. Acts 8:36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? Acts 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. Acts 8:39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.8BAPTISM IS TO BE DONE BY IMMERSION, NOT SPRINKLING!

Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Luke 11:10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Luke 11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Luke 11:12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? Explain to them that they can trust and believe that when God says He will do something, He will. They simply must have faith and confidence in God to keep His promise to give them the Holy Spirit.GOD PROMISED TO GIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT TO THEM THAT ASK HIM.Luke 11:9-139

EXPLAIN TO THEM THAT THERE IS NO CONDEMNATION TO THEM WHICH ARE IN CHRIST JESUS, WHO WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH, BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT. If ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: Romans 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. Romans 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Romans 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 10How can anyone mortify the deeds of the body if they are not filled with the Spirit? THEY CAN’T.

EXPLAIN TO THEM THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE GOSPEL … THE ONE THAT THE DISCIPLES TAUGHT AND PREACHED ABOUT JESUS CHRIST.Galatians 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Galatians 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. Galatians 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. Galatians 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; Whose word? The disciples word!11Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. Jude 1:5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

EXPLAIN TO THEM THAT THERE IS MORE TO BELIEVING THEN SIMPLY SAYING “I BELIEVE”. OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S WORD IS WHAT PROVES YOU BELIEVE.Many are not preaching that there is more to believing then simply saying you believe. They usually have people repeat a sinners prayer (that isn’t even in the Bible). People must be told what the gospel is and that if they believe the gospel, they will obey the gospel that Jesus’ disciples preached.. Notice, again, what is written about who to believe: “For them also which shall believe on me through their word”. WHOSE WORD? The disciples word.John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 12This does not mean tempt the Lord with foolishness by handling poisonous snakes and drinking poison. Because Paul was unharmed when a snake attached itself to his arm, some people use this scripture as an excuse to handle poisonous snakes in their services. The scripture does not say Paul purposely handled the snake, but shook the snake off of his arm and threw it in the fire. (Read Acts 28:1-6 and see slide 30)

13Acts 4:12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. EXPLAIN TO THEM THAT SALVATION IS ONLY FOUND IN JESUS!

SHOULD WE TELL PEOPLE TO “TARRY” FOR THE Holy Ghost OR SHOULD WE TELL THEM TO “TRUST” AND “BELIEVE” God TO FILL THEM?I have read where a man had been “tarrying” for 40 years to receive the Holy Spirit because he was told that he had to tarry for the Holy Ghost (Can you imagine that, 40 years). Well thank God a preacher who knew how to pray for the man to be filled with the Holy Ghost explained to him that he could be filled with God’s Spirit without tarrying (praise God). When that man heard that, his belief allowed God to fill him with His Spirit. (Thank you Jesus). The only tarrying the Bible mentions was on the day of Pentecost when the 120 were in the upper room waiting for the Promise of the Holy Ghost that Jesus told the disciples His Father would send to them. Should we tell people to tarry? What does that mean? Shouldn’t we tell them to yield themselves to the Holy Spirit? If so, what does yield mean? We use Christian language when praying with people, but remember, they come from the world and usually do not know or understand what you mean. We must make ourselves clear so that they will be able to believe and trust God to fill them with His Spirit “now” not 40 years later.Some churches even have ministries named “Tarrying Committee”. This means even before they began praying with people to receive the Holy Ghost, their minds are on “tarrying.” Some call it “Receiving Committee” … I like that title better, for you enter the prayer room with expectations of people receiving the Holy Ghost.14

HELP PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THAT THEY DON’T HAVE TO TARRY, BECAUSE THE HOLY GHOST HAS ALREADY BEEN GIVEN ON THE DAY OF PENTECOST. (Acts 2:4. See slide 20)Since then, no one tarried for the Holy Ghost because it has already been given. After the outpouring of the Holy Ghost, people were filled with the Holy Ghost as they heard the gospel preached, and/or after the disciples prayed and laid their hands on them.The only thing the person we are praying with needs to do in order to be filled with the Holy Ghost is to repent of their sins and began praising the Lord, in their own way, and that by faith they can allow the Holy Spirit to instantly take over their praise and worship and they will begin speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives them the words to speak.Usually, some people don’t know how to begin, so tell them to take a few minutes to repent of their sins and ask God to forgive them of those sins. If they are stuck or confused, you can begin saying words of repentance and words of praise so that they will get an understanding of what it means to repent and praise God. After they have had time to repent, your guidance will have given them a better understanding of how to receive the Holy Ghost.15

THEY HAVE LISTENED AND READ THE WORD OF GOD FOR THEMSELVES. NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION. GOD WANTS TO FILL THEM, NOW, NOT LATER. IF THEY BELIEVE WHAT YOU HAVE SHOWN THEM, THEY CAN BE FILLED WITH GOD’S SPIRIT TODAY!Acts 10:41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. Acts 10:42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. Acts 10:44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. Acts 10:45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 10:46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Acts 10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? (Read Acts 2:4) Acts 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. 2 Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured (helped) thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME; BEHOLD, NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.16

AND, NOW, LET’S SEE HOW YOU PRAY WITH PEOPLE TO RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST. IS IT BIBLICAL?17

ARE THEY BEING PURGED FROM THE DEVIL? NO, JUST PASS THE KLEENEX, PLEASE!I remember the first time I was helping someone pray with a person praying to receive the Holy Ghost, telling me that the lady crying and praying with the runny nose and a little drool coming from her mouth was being purged. (My goodness, where do people get some of these strange thoughts from). I told them that that was not true, that the person just needed a Kleenex. (Can you imagine people believing that a person can be purged of the devil by spitting or drooling him out of their mouths. It would be funny if it wasn’t so sad that some church people believe such thoughts as these). After they gave the lady a Kleenex to wipe her eyes and clean her face, she continued to pray. I never, again saw those church people pray with people in that old unscriptural way. Thank God. They now give Kleenex to people who need them. People praying with people to receive the Holy Spirit just need to be educated in the way they pray with people, and to stop using old unscriptural methods (that somehow sneaked into our churches). I praise and thank God for opening the understanding of many who pray with people according to the will of God … the disciples way.Some people are not familiar with how emotional some people get when they pray to receive the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost). Most of the time, when people are praying to receive the Holy Ghost, they will cry and have running noses or their mouths may water a little. It is not an indication that they are being purged from the devil or of their sins. It simply means they need a Kleenex to wipe their eyes, nose and mouth.18

ARE YOU TRYING TO HELP GOD FILL PEOPLE WITH HIS SPIRIT?GUESS WHAT? GOD DOES NOT NEED OUR HELP. REMEMBER THAT!So relax and just be there to encourage the person praying to be filled. Allow God to do what He does best … without our help. Encourage the person’s faith by telling them that the Holy Spirit has already been given, so, after they have repented of their sins, they simply have to trust that God is going to fill them with His Spirit, that they don’t have to beg for the Holy Ghost … because God said He would give it to them that ask Him. Do not shake their heads, arms, or legs, Don’t rub their faces or jiggle their mouths, do not slap or punch them on their stomach or on other places on their bodies, etc. to “help” them speak in tongues (where do we get this stuff from?). God does not need our help. I can’t say it enough, it is God who fills a person with His Spirit, not us. Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? 19

DON’T TELL PEOPLE YOU ARE PRAYING WITH TO STOP SPEAKING IN THEIR KNOWN LANGUAGE AND BEGIN SPEAKING IN THEIR HEAVENLY LANGUAGE. IT IS NOT A BIBLE PHRASE AND MOST PEOPLE WILL NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.I don't understand what she means. I thought the Holy Ghost gives me the utterance.Stop speaking in your known language. Speak in your heavenly language.Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. He is right. If the Spirit does not give the utterance, there will be no sound given by the Holy Spirit.20

The disciples never told people to speak in their heavenly language when they prayed with them to be filled with the Holy Ghost. Follow the disciples examples in the book of Acts and you will know how to pray with people. In your enthusiasm while praying with people, don’t scream or yell directions in their faces, nor in their ears at any time. (I have actually seen sprays of spit come from the mouths of those praying with people. Can you imagine how distracting that is to the person praying?). Stop telling people, you are praying with, to stop speaking in their known language and speak in their heavenly language (where did that phrase come from?Anyway, You won’t find it anywhere in the Bible). Doing so, can be quite confusing to some people who are praying to receive the Holy Ghost. It could make it seem as if they are in control of filling themselves with the Holy Ghost, and they are not (neither are we). Only God is in control, only God fills people with the Holy Ghost. Just be with them as supporters and encourage them to relax, yield, and let the Holy Spirit have His way, especially when you notice them having stammering lips.You can explain to them that they may hear you say “that’s it” or something similar to that indicating their faith is working and the Holy Ghost is about to speak through them. (Explain to them what you mean by relax, yield, and let the Spirit have His way.)THE PHRASE “SPEAK IN YOUR HEAVENLY LANGUAGE” WAS NEVER USED BY THE DISCIPLES.21

SHOULD WE ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO USE PHRASES WHEN PRAYING TO RECEIVE THE Holy Ghost?For some reason, we tell people to repeat phrases such as THANK YOU JESUS, or HALLELUJAH. The Bible does not tell us what phrases or words those in the Bible spoke while praying to be filled with the Holy Ghost, but even though the Bible does not tell us if people used phrases at all, it works for us today, so I accept that fact. Saying those phrases seems to increase a person’s faith to believe God to fill them as they worship Him. (It did for me. I had stammering lips and saying “Thank you Jesus” when the Pastor placed me under the water, baptizing me in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins. As he brought me back up out of the water, I came up speaking in tongues. Oh how I thank the Lord for that day).So you see, God does honor those phrases … I suppose because it comes from the heart. So, I am not going to say we should not tell people to say those phrases, for I have used it myself and have seen many people filled with the Holy Ghost and begin speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives them the utterance during the use of those phrases. However, we need to continue encouraging the person to trust God to fill them and He will, that they really do not have to tarry. Show them what happened to those in the Bible who began speaking in tongues as they heard and believed the gospel that the disciples preached.22

PLEASE RESPECT ONE ANOTHER AS YOU PRAY FOR THOSE WHO ARE PRAYING TO BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST. REMEMBER, IT IS God WHO FILLS A PERSON WITH HIS SPIRIT, NOT US.We, too, must not get so excited that we want to take some of God’s glory for ourselves (the flesh is so self-observed, huh). I am reminded of a woman who prayed with her husband at home to be filled with God’s Spirit, and God filled him. It was exciting. But there was one big problem, the woman kept saying she did it. I told her to give God the credit for her husband being filled with the Holy Ghost, but she insisted on saying that she did it. I pray the Lord forgave her, for He will not share His glory with anyone. If someone is praying with a person to be filled with the Holy Ghost, and you see that the person they are praying with has stammering lips, indicating that God is beginning to fill them with the Holy Ghost, don’t run over and push the person who is praying with that person out of the way so that you can take over, saying “I GOT THIS” or other such sayings. This can be a hindrance to the person praying to be filled with God’s Spirit, and will sometimes cause them to stop praying. It can also be discouraging to the person you so rudely pushed aside. If someone is praying with a person about to make a break through does not call you over to help, don’t interrupt them. Just continue praying for the person getting a breakthrough and the person praying with him or her, without interrupting the move of God on that person. Let’s not let our flesh get in the way because we want to take credit (intentionally or not intentionally) for something that only God can do.Remember, we are workers together with God. “For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.” 1 Corinthians 3:9 “Let all things be done decently and in order.” 1 Corinthians 14:40 23

I pray this video has been a blessing to you.Please share this video with the unsaved, the weak in the Apostolic faith, as taught by the disciples of Jesus Christ, and for those who want to know more about how to pray to receive the Holy Ghost and for altar workers, etc., who need more understanding about how to increase the person’s faith who is seeking to be filled with God’s Spirit, by letting them know that they do not have to tarry for a long time in order for God to fill them with His Spirit, because as soon as they repent of their sins, God will fill them. Remind them that God said He would give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him for it.I love you World, but God loves you so very much more. It is my prayer that we will all be found ready to go back with Jesus when he comes for his born again Church, and that we all be found living holy lives that is pleasing to the Lord when He comes for His Church, for without holiness no man shall see God. I pray that this and my other PowerPoint videos on YouTube (see icons on slide 26) will be a blessing to all of you who view them, and that with God’s anointing on them, He will cause many to come to know the truth, and that they will get baptized in Jesus name for the remission of sins, and be filled with the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance, (Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:) apostolictruth7 24

Below is a link that I found online that has an index of some Apostolic Pentecostal churches located in various countries inside and outside the USA.http://apostolicpentecostalchurches.org/index.html28

Are you still looking for truth on how to be born again? Apostolic Pentecostal churches teach the true salvation message, which is Acts 2:38 “Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall received the gift of the Holy Ghost”; however, not all Apostolic Pentecostal churches are the same. Some believe in handling snakes, and other believe in doing strange things in order to prove their faith in Jesus. DO NOT BE A PART OF THAT KIND OF MINISTRY. RUN FROM IT AS FAST AS YOU CAN. THE STRANGENESS IS NOT OF God. I have shown a link, on slide 28, that will lead you to an Apostolic Pentecostal churches directory that has churches in various places throughout the world. I am not familiar with all the churches listed, so make sure you compare what they are teaching to what the Word of God teaches. (As I mentioned previously, some Apostolic churches believe in handling snakes … they misunderstand the scriptures. The Bible does not tell us that Paul handled a snake. The following scriptures tells you what happened: Acts 28:3 And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand. Acts 28:5 And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.) We should never test God by acting foolishly. Many have died from snake bites, but still continue the practice of handling snakes. See the article on slide 30. Remember, God does not behave oddly, nor does He cause His people to behave strangely. Some churches teach their people to behave weirdly, such as eat grass, drink gasoline, and other ungodly things. DO NOT DO IT! it is not of God. I have videos on YouTube that will explain in more depth what being born again means. (see icons of my videos on slide 26). 29

THE REASON WE TEACH THE SAVING GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST! “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; ….” 2 Corinthians 5:10-11Scriptures are not to be used to get excited about scaring people. They are to be used to persuade people. (See commentary notes on slide 32 and 33). Hebrew 3:6-8 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: 2 Corinthians 6:1-2 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured (helped) thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) I pray we will all share the Lord’s Gospel to persuade people, with love, praying that they will give their lives to the Lord. We must use our voices and behave in a kind, gentle, loving and godly way as we witness to people in order to win them to Jesus.31

2 Corinthians 5:11 (BARNES COMMENTARY), part 1Knowing therefore - We who are apostles, and who are appointed to preach the gospel, having the fullest assurance of the terrors of the day of judgment, and of the wrath of God, endeavor to persuade people to be prepared to meet Him, and to give up their account.The terror of the Lord - This is, of the Lord Jesus, who will be seated on the throne of judgment, and who will decide the destiny of all people, 2 Corinthians 5:10; compare Matthew 25. The sense is, knowing how much the Lord is to be feared; what an object of terror and alarm it will be to stand at the judgment-seat; how fearful and awful will be the consequences of the trial of that day. The Lord Jesus will be an object of terror and alarm, or it will be a subject inspiring terror and alarm to stand there on that day, because:(1) He has all power, and is appointed to execute judgment;(2) Because all must there give a strict and impartial account of all that they have done;(3) Because the wrath of God will be shown in the condemnation of the guilty.It will be a day of awful wailing and alarm when all the living and the dead shall be arraigned on trial with reference to their eternal destiny; and when countless hosts of the guilty and impenitent shall be thrust down to an eternal hell. Who can describe the amazing terror of the scene? Who can fancy the horrors of the hosts of the guilty and the wretched who shall then hear that their doom is to be fixed forever in a world of unspeakable woe? The influence of the knowledge of the terror of the Lord on the mind of the apostle seems to have been two-fold; first, an apprehension of it as a personal concern, and a desire to escape it, which led him to constant self-denial and toil; and secondly, a desire to save others from being overwhelmed in the wrath of that dreadful day.32

2 Corinthians 5:11 (BARNES COMMENTARY), part 2We persuade men - We endeavor to persuade them to flee from the wrath to come; to be prepared to stand before the judgment-seat, and to be suited to enter into heaven. Observe here the uniqueness of the statement. It is not, we drive people; or we endeavor to alarm people; or we frighten people; or we appeal merely to their fears, but it is, we persuade people, we endeavor to induce them by all the arts of persuasion and argument to flee from the wrath to come. The future judgment, and the scenes of future woe, are not proper topics for mere declamation. To declaim (proclaim) constantly on hell-fire and perdition; to appeal merely to the fears of people, is not the way in which Paul and the Saviour preached the gospel. The knowledge that there would be a judgment, and that the wicked would be sent to hell, was a powerful motive for Paul to endeavor to “persuade” people to escape from wrath, and was a motive for the Saviour to weep over Jerusalem (Luke 19:41), and to lament its folly, and its doom;. But they who fill their sermons with the denunciations of wrath; who dwell on the words “hell” and “damnation,” for the purpose of rhetoric or declamation, to round a period, or merely to excite alarm; and who “deal damnation around the land” as if they rejoiced that people were to be condemned, and in a tone and manner as if they would be pleased to execute it, have yet to learn the true nature of the way to win people to God, and the proper effect of those awful truths on the mind. The true effect is, to produce tenderness, deep feeling, and love; to prompt to the language of persuasion and of tender entreaty; to lead people to weep over dying sinners rather than to denounce them; to pray to God to have mercy on them rather than to use the language of severity, or to assume tones as if they would be pleased to execute the awful wrath of God.33

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Ezekiel 18:31-32 Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. CLARK COMMENTARY: Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions - There is still life; still a God that has no pleasure in the death of a sinner, One who is ever ready to give his Holy Spirit to all them that ask him; therefore “repent and turn, so iniquity shall not be your ruin.” For I have no pleasure - God repeats what he had so solemnly declared before. Can ye doubt his sincerity? his ability? his willingness? the efficacy of the blood of his covenant? Wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye - Reader, now give God thy heart. Though every man comes into the world with a fallen nature, a soul infected with sin, yet no man is damned on that account. He who refuses that grace which pardons sin and heals infected nature, who permits the evil principle to break out into transgression, and continues and dies in his iniquity and sin, and will not come unto Christ that he may have life; he, and he only, goes to perdition (punishment). Nor will the righteousness of a parent or relation help his sinful soul: no man can have more grace than is necessary to save himself; and none can have that, who does not receive it through Christ Jesus. It is the mercy of God in Christ which renders the salvation of a sinner possible; and it is that mercy alone which can heal the backslider. The atoning blood blots out all that is past; the same blood cleanses from all unrighteousness. 34

Nothing, I mean nothing is more important than telling a soul how to be born again so that they can have everlasting life with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Absolutely nothing else matters if souls are not being saved in our churches.No matter how great our programs are, no matter how many people attend our churches, no matter how great the choir and praise teams sound, no matter how wonderful and exciting the preaching is, no matter how uplifting the fellowship is, etc, … if people are not being told how to be born again, we are cheating them out of making a decision to give their lives to Jesus Christ … we are cheating them out of the opportunity of having eternal life. I pray this PowerPoint will help you understand that God loves you and wants all people to be filled with His Spirit. He wants you to spend eternity with Him, but there are requirements to obey. People must be told what the requirements are in order to saved. There are Scriptures in this PowerPoint and in my other PowerPoint videos (see slide 26) that will help you know what to obey.35

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 36John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

1 John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God, therefore the world knoweth us not, because they knew Him not.What an magnificent, breathtakingly, awesome, honor and privilege it is to be drawn by God to be His child; to be called “sons of God”, because He loves us so much. It is hard to comprehend that such love for us comes from an Almighty God. Oh people, please listen and obey the Lord. It would be so ungrateful and foolish of you to not accept THIS GREAT SALVATION, this great opportunity that God made possible for all mankind through the death, burial, and resurrection of His dear Son Jesus Christ. But, unfortunately many do neglect God’s invitation to have eternal life. PLEASE DON’T BE A FOOLISH PERSON. Salvation cost you nothing, it cost Jesus everything: His Life … for yours.37John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. GILL COMMENTARY: John 8:24 I said therefore unto you,.... Because they were from beneath, and of the world, and discovered an earthly, worldly, carnal, yea, devilish disposition, in their conduct towards him: that ye shall die in your sins; this he had said in John 8:21, and now repeats it, and confirms it by the following reason: for if believe not that I am he; the everlasting and unchangeable I am, the true God, God over all, blessed for ever; the eternal Son of God, God manifest in the flesh, really made flesh, and become incarnate; the true Messiah, the only Saviour of sinners; the one and only Mediator between God and man; the Head of the church, prophet, priest, and King, and the Judge of quick and dead; as also the light of the world he had declared himself to be: these are things that are necessary to be believed concerning Christ; indeed, carnal and unregenerate men may believe all these things; the devils themselves do, and tremble at them; but then they, and so unconverted men, have no faith in them, with an application of them to themselves: true faith in Christ deals not with him in a general way, but in a special regard to a man's self; it is a seeing of Christ for a man's self; it is not an implicit faith, or a believing him to be what he is, merely upon report, but upon sight; it is a going out of the soul to Christ, a renouncing its own righteousness, and a trusting in him alone for life and salvation; it is with the heart, and from it, and is unfeigned; it works by love to Christ, and his people, and is attended with the fruits of righteousness, and a cheerful obedience to the commands and ordinances of Christ. Though perhaps no more than a general faith is here intended, for want of which, and their rejection of Jesus, as the Messiah, the Jews suffered temporal ruin; and had they but believed that Jesus was the Son of God, and true Messiah, they had been saved from that temporal destruction which came upon their nation, city, and temple; but not believing this in a general and notional, way, they perished, as is here threatened: ye shall die in your sins; in which they were, being defiled with them, guilty before God for them, under the power of them, and liable to punishment for them; and so they remained, and did remain, and were yet in their sins, even until death, when they died in them, and for them, not only a corporeal (earthly), but an eternal death: for dying in their sins, these would be found upon them, and they would be charged with them, and must be answerable for them, and consequently endure the punishment of them, which is the second death. Dying in sin, and dying in Christ, are two widely different things. They that die in faith, die in Christ: they that die in unbelief, die in sin; and this is a dreadful dying; 38

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. OBEY THE WORD OF GOD, AS TAUGHT BY JESUS’ DISCIPLES AND LIVE!39

As said earlier, It is so sad to say, but it is difficult to share your faith with some people because of their pride. Even though they see the truth in the Word of God, they don’t want to accept it from you. They seem offended that you are trying to show them a more perfect way. (Don’t let that be said of you). Remember, even though Apollos was an eloquent man, mighty in the scriptures, he did not rebuke Aquilla and Priscilla for taking him to themselves to explain to him the more perfect way. A hungry soul for more truth of God’s word will not be offended, but will listen and obey.
