THE REASON WE MUST TEACH AND PREACH THE SALVATION MESSAGE! For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences. 2 Corinthians 5:10-112

No matter how great our programs are, no matter how many people attend our churches, no matter how great the choir and praise teams sound, no matter how wonderful and exciting the preaching is, matter how uplifting the fellowship is, etc, … if we are not encouraging people to believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Savior, by explaining to them how to be born again of the water and of the Spirit, we are cheating them out of making a decision to give their lives to Jesus Christ … we are cheating them out of the opportunity of having eternal life. OH LORD, I HUNGER FOR YOU SO MUCH. PLEASE, PLEASE, SEND SOMEONE TO TELL ME HOW TO BE SAVED. 3

“Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. IF WE LOVE JESUS, WE MUST FEED HIS SHEEP BY PREACHING AND TEACHING THE GOSPEL AS JESUS TAUGHT HIS DISCIPLES TO DO AND HE TOLD HIS DISCIPLES TO TEACH US TO DO.4

Altar calls should be a part in all of our services, for it just may be possible that someone who came to church, for whatever reason, may now want to give their lives to God. Many have said they would have gone to the altar, if the church had made one more invitation to come to Jesus. The Church has become too anxious for the church services to be over, so that they can go about doing their own business … putting the things of God, (which is winning souls), behind their own desires. Dear Lord, please forgive us. Please deliver us from becoming a lukewarm Church. 5

We must tell people what sin is, how to be born again, and how to live holy lives. We must have the people turn to those scriptures in their own Bibles to see for themselves that what we are telling them is in the Bible. By having the people turn to the scriptures, or show the scriptures on the projector screen, etc., it will allow the people to see for themselves that it is not just something you said, but, what you are preaching and teaching is actually in the word of God. It allows people to read the truth for themselves … as it is written in the Bible.6HAVE PEOPLE OPEN THEIR BIBLES, AND READ ALONG WITH YOU, TO SEE IF WHAT YOU ARE READING IS THE SAME AS ….

Romans 10:13-16 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the Gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the Gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. HOW SHALL THEY HEAR WITHOUT A PREACHER? AND HOW SHALL THEY PREACH, EXCEPT THEY BE SENT? Everyone who says they are a preacher is not called by God. You shall know them by their fruit. So search the scriptures to see if what is being taught to you is in the word of God. Be not deceived by false prophets.7

PREACH AND TEACH THE GOOD NEWS … THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST … AS TOLD BY THE DISCIPLES!John 17:20 “Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;” WHOSE WORD?The disciples word.Galatians 1:6-9 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another Gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other Gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other Gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 8

OUR MESSAGES MUST NOT ONLY BE ENCOURAGING, THEY MUST ALSO ALLOW THEHOLY GHOST TO CONVICT PEOPLE OF THEIR SINS, CAUSING THEM TO REPENT, AND GIVE THEIR LIVES TO JESUS … THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS.Does your message draw people to the Lord? Jesus said if He be lifted up He will draw all men to Himself. Do people understand your message of salvation, about how Jesus died for their sins? Does your message tell people how to be born again of the water and of the Spirit? Do your messages allow the Holy Ghost to convict people of their sins. Do your messages show them the plan of salvation? 9

I have seen week after week, precious souls sitting on our church pews without being drawn to the Lord because the salvation scriptures, found in many places in the book of Acts (and throughout the Bible), is not being preached. And if some attempt is made to do so, the scriptures are spoken, instead of having people turn to the scriptures to see and read for themselves to see if what you are reading or saying about being born again is in the Bible. Encourage them to search the scriptures for themselves, as some people did in “Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” PEOPLE SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED TO SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES FOR THEMSELVES TO SEE IF WHAT IS BEING PREACHED AND TAUGHT IS THE SAME AS IS RECORDED IN THE WORD OF GOD (KING JAMES BIBLE). WARN THEM TO USE THE KING JAMES BIBLE WHEN USING MODERN BIBLES TO COMPARE AND SEE IF THOSE BIBLES ARE SAYING THE SAME AS THE KING JAMES BIBLE. MANY MODERN BIBLES ARE CORRUPT AND HAVE OMITTED SCRIPTURES AND/OR MADE CHANGES TO FIT THEIR OWN BELIEFS.WOW! What my pastor preached really is in the Bible. Thank you Jesus for my pastor. Please continue to bless him to preach the truth.10

JESUS SENT THE HOLY GHOST TO GUIDE US UNTO ALL TRUTHS, HOW SHALL WE BE LED BY THE SPIRIT IF WE ARE NOT FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT? THERE IS NO WAY WE CAN BE, FOR WITHOUT THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST WE ARE NONE OF HIS, SAYS ROMANS 8:9.John 16:7-9 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; John 16:13-14 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Romans 8:9-11 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 11

People who are living in sin should not be put in positions to teach and be a part of your ministry until they have repented of their sins, been baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of their sins and is filled with the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives them the utterance. It is unfortunate, but many churches are compromising with those who are sinning. Why? They probably don’t want to lose people who support their church financially, or don’t want to offend their family members and friends. Stand for GOD and His righteousness. GOD will give you people who want to serve Him. Let’s stop making excuses why we can’t preach the truth. Trust GOD to take care of your ministry, even if everyone who is living in sin leaves your church (better for you, anyway, if they don’t want to repent and turn from their sins). We are not to conform to the world, no matter what other churches or organizations are allowing. Let it be known that as for you and your church, you serve the Lord.Pastor, teacher, etc., of the Gospel, remember: saints need to have trust in you as their pastor and/or leader in illustrating how to live a life that pleases the Lord. If you have a small church or even a mega church, don’t become so desperate for more members or keeping the ones you have, that you allow anything to be taught or allow just about anyone or anything to be a part of your ministry. 12

Revelation 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. Rev 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. LOOK AT REVELATIONS 2:20 TO SEE HOW GOD FELT ABOUT AN UNGODLY PERSON USED TO TEACH.13

1 Corinthians 10:21-22 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he? Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ROMANS 12:2 AND BE NOT CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD:Sins Of The Flesh from the King James Version (KJV) 1 John 2:15-17 - Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.   Ephesians 2:1-22 - And you [hath he quickened], who were dead in trespasses and sins;  Romans 8:7 - Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.1 John 2:4-6 - He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.   Romans 8:13 - For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. Romans 13:13 - Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.2 Peter 1:5-8 - And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;  DARE TO BE DIFFERENT. ALWAYS REPRESENT JESUS, EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO STAND ALONE.14

HEY, PLEASE DON’T LET YOUR CHURCH BE A PART OF THE WORLDLY CHURCH!2 Corinthians 12:20 For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults: 15

Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? SOME PEOPLE TRULY DO NOT KNOW THAT SOME THINGS THEY ALLOW IN THEIR LIVES ARE SINFUL. WE MUST WARN THEM BY SHOWING THEM SCRIPTURES SUCH AS ARE BELOW:Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the whichI tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whorenmogers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. 1 Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind. 16

GOD HATES SIN, BUT HE LOVES THE SINNER SO VERY MUCH!Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:22-26 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. GOD does not hate sinners, He loves them very much, but He is a holy and perfect God, and hates sin so very much, no matter who commits the sin. We must not tell people that GOD accepts them just the way they are, and just leave it at that. Instead, let them know that they may come to the Lord just the way they are, and He will deliver them from their sins if they repent of their sins, and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of those sins and allow God to fill them with the Holy Ghost, which is the Comforter, to live in them and that the Holy Ghost will guide them into all truths.17

WARNING! SUGAR-COATED PREACHING AND TEACHING IS DANGEROUS TO YOUR SOUL!Jeremiah 23:1-2 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD. Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD. 18

WE MUST HELP THOSE WHO ARE BLINDED BY FALSE PROPHETS AND CORRUPT BIBLES!2 Corinthians 4:3 But if our Gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 2 Corinthians 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. 19

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. TEACH PEOPLE TO BEWARE OF FALSE PROPHETS!20

Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. GO INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH THE GOSPEL TO EVERYONE!Please don’t hide or sugarcoat the Gospel. There are people like me, who really want to know the truth about how to be born again.21

2 Peter 2:1 But there were also prophets among the people, even as there will be teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, . . ." Ministers, preachers, etc., of the Gospel, feed God’s sheep so that they will know how to recognize false teachers who sound harmless, but they are servants of satan, teaching false messages and sermons that are very deadly to the souls of mankind.2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds. 22

WITH GOD’S HELP!TEACH PEOPLE HOW TO RESIST SATAN …….Matthew 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Matthew 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 23

WARN THOSE WHO HAVE TURNED FROM THE COMMON SALVATION AND FAITH WHICH WAS ONCE DELIVERED TO THE SAINTS, AND ARE NOW BELIEVING AND IS INVOLVED IN FALSE RELIGIONS.Jude 1:3-5 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. 24

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:4-15I am afraid that your minds will be corrupted and that you will abandon your full and pure devotion to Christ---in the same way that Eve was deceived by the snake's clever lies. For you gladly tolerate anyone who comes to you and preaches a different Jesus, not the one we preached; and you accept a spirit and a Gospel completely different from the Spirit and the Gospel you received from us! (GNV)WARN THE PEOPLE THAT NOT EVERYTHING THAT CALLS ITSELF “CHRISTIAN” IS CHRISTIAN!25

John 8:42-47 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. WARN PEOPLE TO BEWARE OF FALSE PROPHETS. THEY ONLY APPEAR TO BE MEN OF GOD.26

THE TRUTH IS THE TRUTH EVEN IF NO ONE BELIEVES IT, A LIE IS A LIE EVEN IF EVERYONE BELIEVES IT!Unfortunately, many people fall in the category of believing a lie, to the detriment of their souls. We must pray that God softens their heart, by giving them a desire to receive the salvation that He offers to everyone who believes in him.27

SIN SEPARATES US FROM GOD!29

HAVE NO FELLOWSHIP WITH EVIL DOERS, BUT REPROVE THEM.By reproving them, we are showing them we love them enough to tell them about sin and the truth about Jesus; that He will deliver them from their sins and give them eternal life.30

Romans 12:1-10 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. PRESENT YOUR BODIES A LIVING SACRIFICE, HOLY, ACCEPTABLE UNTO GOD, WHICH IS YOUR REASONABLE SERVICE. 31

WITHOUT HOLINESS, NO MAN SHALL SEE GOD!32

Leviticus 20:7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God. 1Peter 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 1Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.WE ARE TO BE HOLY AND ENCOURAGE THE BODY OF CHRIST TO BE HOLY.Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. 33

Perfection of saints should be the goal of every Christian! The Church’s responsibility is to perfect born again saints. If the church is not being a pattern for others to follow Jesus, it is a weak or corrupt Church.No one is perfect is a convenient excuse for sins and failures. People who believe this lie, oftentimes used this phrase as an excuse, or to justify their sins and mistakes. If you believe that "no one is perfect," then you will not aim for excellence, for perfection! Then, you will settle for less then what God wants you to be. In other words, if you believe in the "no one is perfect" lie, you will not grow spiritually, and you will fail to achieve the FULL POTENTIAL to become a perfect son or daughter of GOD THE FATHER, who is PERFECT! (Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. KJV)34

Perfection of saints should be the goal of every Christian! The Church’s responsibility is to perfect born again saints. "No one is perfect," we hear this familiar saying many, many times. But this slogan is a lie, and it is contradicting the Bible. The Bible has a list of human beings that are perfect, and to become PERFECT is a strong command by God. The source of this deceptive lie is no other than the Father of Lies, satan!Whaaattttttt? God said be perfect? You mean to tell me that my pastor has been lying to me?Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. 35

OUR LIVES SHOULD BE A PATTERN OF GOOD WORKS, ALLOWING THE SAVED AND THE UNSAVED TO KNOW HOW TO LIVE FOR THE LORD.Titus 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. Titus 2:7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, 36

Let your light so shine before men,.... Light was not given merely for their own private use, but for the public good of mankind; and therefore, as they were placed as lights in the world, they were to hold forth, in the most open and conspicuous manner, the word of light and life: that they may see your good works: meaning their zeal and fervency; their plainness and openness; their sincerity, faithfulness, and integrity; their courage and intrepidity; their diligence, industry, and indefatigableness in preaching the Gospel; their strict regard to truth, the honour of Christ, and the good of souls; as also their very great care and concern to recommend the doctrines of grace, by their example in their lives and conversations: and glorify your Father which is in heaven; that is, that when the ministration of the Gospel has been blessed, for the illumination of the minds of men, to a thorough conviction of their state; and for their regeneration, conversion, sanctification, and comfort; they may give praise to God, and bless his name for qualifying and sending such Gospel ministers to show unto them the way of salvation; and that the word has been made useful to them for communicating spiritual light, life, joy, and comfort. WE MUST LET OUR LIGHTS SHINE BY LIVING GODLY LIVES, SO THAT THE UNSAVED CAN SEE JESUS IN US.Matthew 5:13-15 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 39

WE MUST BE EXAMPLES FOR PEOPLE SEEKING GOD. IF WE ACT AND LOOK LIKE THE WORLD, HOW ARE PEOPLE GOING TO KNOW THAT WE ARE DIFFERENT?Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: (KJV)Peculiar: Different from other people. Particular; special to God.40

John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. WHEN SOMEONE TELLS YOU NOT TO JUDGE WHEN YOU SEE SIN IN THE CHURCH, SHOW THEM THE SCRIPTURE IN JOHN 7:24.41

Pastor, ministers, teachers, etc., of the Word of God, we all must preach the and teach the Gospel that can save people. We must not compromise the Gospel, that was once delivered to the saints, which was given to them by Jesus Christ, who He Himself opened their understanding to understand the scriptures and they are to preach and teach that Gospel to us (which they did throughout the book of Acts) and as written throughout the rest of the Bible. 42

WHY ARE WE LOSING SO MANY YOUNG PEOPLE, WHO WERE RAISED IN THE CHURCH, TO THE WORLD?Something is definitely wrong when a pastor tells his congregation and visitors that God accepts them just the way they are? Something is wrong when God’s people, are not concerned about the ungodliness that is allowed in the church, and if they do show concern, the pastor and members may rebuke them, telling them not to judge people. (even though the Bible in John 7:24 tells us: “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment”). They make the saints feel guilty for being bothered by the ungodliness that they see are tolerated in the church? Something is wrong when a pastor tells his congregation, “Can I ask you something … will you allow me to backslide sometimes?” Whaaatttttttt? Does not the word of God say be holy for I am holy and be perfect for I am perfect? We must STOP making people feel it is okay for them to yield themselves to sin “because God loves them just the way they are”. Instead, let’s tell them that God does love them and sees their struggles and will deliver them from their sins if they will surrender themselves to Him.43

IF WE DON’T TEACH OUR YOUNG PEOPLE TO FOLLOW CHRIST, THE WORLD WILL TEACH THEM NOT TO.Are we losing a lot of young people because sin is seldom named or mentioned or preached about in our churches and in our homes. We must constantly and continually preach and teach the Gospel to our young people (and to those of all ages), what it means to be holy, perfect, and righteous before God. Parents, the Church cannot be the only avenue to reach your young people. You must do your partto teach your children about God and what sin is, so that your children don’t just go about doing what comes natural to the flesh: SIN. 44

WE MUST PREACH AND TEACH THE SAME THINGS THE DISCIPLES PREACHED?The “name” that Jesus was referring to in Matthew 28:19 was His name (Jesus) for the remission of sins. The name was first used to baptize people in on the day of Pentecost as shown in Acts 2:38. Nowhere in the Bible were the titles Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, used by the disciples of Jesus when baptizing people. The only name they baptized people in was in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins. Remember, Jesus opened the disciples understanding and told them to teach all nations teaching us to observe all that He commanded them to do … and they did.Luke 24:45-49 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Act 2:37-39 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? WE MUST TEACH PEOPLE THAT THE “NAME” TO USE WHEN BAPTIZING PEOPLE (MENTIONED IN MATTHEW 28:19) IS IN HIS OWN NAME: JESUS”. WHY? FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS. 46

Why do so many churches refuse to use the name of Jesus when baptizing people? Probably because of the tradition of men, ignoring what actually happened in the book of Acts that shows how the disciples obeyed the command given to them by Jesus in Matthew 28:19. The disciples began baptizing people in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins on the day of Pentecost (read Acts 2:38-39), thus obeying the command given to them in Matthew 28:19 by baptizing them in the name of JESUS, for the remission of sins. WE MUST PREACH AND TEACH THE SAME THINGS THE DISCIPLES PREACHED!Mark 16:15-17 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 47

John 3:3-7 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.”LET PEOPLE KNOW THAT THEY MUST BE BORN OF THE WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT.JOHN 3:3-7 AND MATTHEW 28:19-20 WAS FULFILLED IN ACTS 2:38 AND IN OTHER PLACES IN THE BOOK OF ACTS.Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”Acts 2:1-4 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. LET PEOPLE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO PEOPLE ON THE DAY OF PENTECOST, AND IS STILL HAPPENING TODAY. EXPLAIN TO THEM THAT THEY, TOO, CAN BE FILLED WITH GOD’S SPIRIT, FOR IT IS A PROMISE TO EVERYONE.51

Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.Acts 5:32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him. Acts 10:44-48 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. Acts 11:15-16 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. Acts 13:52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost. Acts 15:8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; THE HOLY GHOST IS FOR EVERYONE WHO ASK THE LORD FOR IT.52

Now a days, it is no surprise to hear people say: “I’m born again”; “I know Jesus”; “I love God”; “I go to church”; “I’ve accepted Jesus in my heart”. (James 2:17-20 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?) Loving God and going to church are things we must do, but our good works cannot save us. (Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;). As representatives of God’s Gospel, we have the responsibility to communicate a message upon which people’s souls rest. If the message is not being given or received successfully it will be the greatest message disaster in someone’s life. This is not an issue to be lazy with or to cut corners. Better to be sure that the message is understood than to justify a weak testimony as covering up someone’s ignorance of the Gospel. It is most important to determine the clearness of the Gospel. People cannot believe what they do not hear. (Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.) People do not understand what they cannot communicate.If you can’t communicate the Gospel, then you don’t know it.”WITNESSING TO PEOPLE ABOUT THE GOSPEL IS NOT AN ISSUE TO BE LAZY OR CUT CORNERS!53

IT CAN BE DISAPPOINTING WHEN TRYING TO SHARE THE GOSPEL TO SOME PEOPLE WHO DON’T WANT TO HEAR IT. BUT, DON’T STOP TRYING. THE FIELD OF LOST SOULS IS HUGE. GOD WILL SEND YOU TO SOMEONE WHO WILL LISTEN, OR HE WILL SEND THEM TO YOU. THE WORK YOU DO FOR THE LORD IS NOT IN VAIN.Awww, I’m so sorry, I don’t have the time to listen to you talk about Jesus right now. Maybe later. 54

Don’t be discouraged. If one person will not listen to the GOOD NEWS, which is the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST: HIS DEATH, BURIAL, AND RESURRECTION FROM THE DEAD, that you want to share with them, the Lord will always open other opportunities for you to tell other people about His Son Jesus. Always follow-up on those who are open to your witnessing about Jesus. Let them know you really care about their souls and where they will spend eternity. 55

BE WISE, DON’T FRIGHTEN PEOPLE WITH YOUR ENTHUSIASM TO REACH THEM. YOU MIGHT FRIGHTEN THEM, CAUSING THEM TO THINK YOU ARE A STRANGE AND FRIGHTFUL PERSON. REMEMBER, HE THAT WINS SOULS IS WISE. 56

DON’T FRIGHTEN PEOPLE WITH YOUR ENTHUSIASM TO REACH THEM. THIS CAN FRIGHTEN THEM AND THEY WILL THINK YOU ARE A STRANGE AND FRIGHTFUL PERSON. HE THAT WINS SOULS IS WISE. I have seen something similar to this happen in a church. The person who went to the altar to get prayed for actually became frighten because someone decided to “cast the devil out” of that person, who was obviously only frightened by the behavior of those praying for her. She was chased after as she ran down the aisle and out of the church. And though one of the members of the church was able to calm her down, and she said she would come back to visit, she never did. Can you blame her? Be wise in your witnessing.HE THAT WINS SOULS IS WISE, NOT WEIRD OR SCARY. 57

Romans 7:19-25 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. LET PEOPLE KNOW THAT ONLY JESUS CAN DELIVER US FROM SINS THAT KEEP US BOUND.Hebrews 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 58

Ezekiel 18:30-32 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, GOD LOVES US SO MUCH, THAT HE TAKES NO PLEASURE IN THE DEATH OF AN UNSAVED PERSON. HE WANTS US ALL SAVED. HE WANTS US ALL TO REPENT AND TURN FROM OUR WICKED WAYS, SO THAT WE CAN LIVE WITH HIM FOREVER!59

FOR GOD SENT NOT HIS SON INTO THE WORLD TO CONDEMN THE WORLD; BUT THAT THE WORLD THROUGH HIM MIGHT BE SAVED.John 3:15-19 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. IT’S TRUE! JESUS IS A GIFT FROM GOD, AND GOD WILL GIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST, WHICH IS THE SPIRIT OF HIS SON JESUS, TO THEM THAT BELIEVE AND ASK HIM FOR IT.Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? 60

NOT ALL PASTORS ARE CROOKED. There are some pastors who are truly doing the work that Jesus called them to do. They should be supported by the church. It is something that Jesus Himself requires.1 Corinthians 9:13 Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? 1Co 9:14 Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel. 1 Corinthians 9:14Even so - In the same manner, and for the same reasons. Hath the Lord ordained - Hath the Lord appointed, commanded, “arranged” that it should be so .The word here means that he has made this a law, or has required it. The word “Lord” here doubtless refers to the Lord Jesus, who has sent forth his ministers to labor in the great harvest of the world. That they which preach the gospel - They who are sent forth by him; who devote their lives to this work; who are called and employed by him in this service. This refers, therefore, not only to the apostles, but to all who are duly called to this work, and who are his ambassadors. Should live of the gospel - Should be supported and maintained in this work. Paul here probably refers to the appointment of the Lord Jesus, when he sent forth his disciples to preach, Matthew 10:10; Luke 10:8; compare Galatians 6:6. The man may be said to “live in the gospel” who is supported while he preaches it, or wire derives his maintenance in that work. Here we may observe: (1) That the command is that they shall “live” of the gospel. It is not that they should grow rich, or layup treasures, or speculate in it, or become merchants, farmers, teachers, or bookmakers for a living; but it is that they should have such a maintenance as to constitute a livelihood. They should be made comfortable; not rich. They should receive so much as to keep their minds from being harassed with cares, and their families from want not so much as to lead them to forget their dependence on God, or on the people. Probably the true rule is, that they should be able to live as the mass of the people among whom they labor live; that they should be able to receive and entertain the poor, and be willing to do it; and so that the rich also may not despise them, or turn away from their dwelling. (2) this is a command of the Lord Jesus; and if it is a command, it should be obeyed as much as any other law of the Redeemer. And if this is a command, then the minister is entitled to a support; and then also a people are not at liberty to withhold it. Further, there are as strong reasons why they should support him, as there are why they should pay a schoolmaster, a lawyer, a physician, or a day-laborer. The minister usually toils as hard as others; expends as much in preparing for his work; and does as much good. And there is even a higher claim in this case. God has given an express command in this case; he has not in the others. (3) the salary of a minister should not be regarded as a “gift” merely, any more than the pay of a congressman, a physician, or a lawyer. He has a claim to it; and God has commanded that it should be paid. It is, moreover, a matter of stipulation and of compact, by which a people agree to compensate him for his services. And yet, is there anything in the shape of “debt” where there is so much looseness as in regard to this subject? Are people usually as conscientious in this as they are in paying a physician or a merchant? Are not ministers often in distress for that which has been promised them, and which they have a right to expect? And is not their usefulness, and the happiness of the people, and the honor of religion intimately connected with obeying the rule of the Lord Jesus in this respect? HOW TO SPOT A FAKE PASTOR Not all pastors are called by God. Some are called by their own greed, pride, as well as financial gain. Here are just a few obvious traits that are around a fake pastor that has put himself at pastoral duty and not by God.Pride - Beware of pastors who habitually refers to the congregation as "my church," instead of "the church." Acts 20:28 - Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood. Do not trust a pastor who has children that are not model Christians themselves. According to the Bible, if a pastor cannot take care of his own household, he cannot take care of the church. 1 Timothy 3:5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) Titus 1:6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.Watch out for pastors who use church finances to "pay themselves" and buy extravagant homes, cars and/or other extravagant items.1 Timothy 6:5 "Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself." 62

Notice: “HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST SINCE YOU BELIEVED” and “WELCOME TO HOLY GHOST PRAYER SEMINAR” are good presentations for altar workers and those praying with people who are seeking to be filled with the Holy Ghost. Be careful, all churches are not called by God. If you attend one that tells you to handle snakes, eat grass, drink poison, and other foolish and unwise things that are definitely not of God … DO NOT BECOME A PART OF THAT CHURCH. You will know them by their fruit. They should be preaching: Repentance, baptism in Jesus name for the remission of sins, and being filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance, and encourage living holy lives that please God.Thank you for viewing my PowerPoint video.
