James McGrath from Live-IT to Present to the Delaware Chapter of the American Society for Quality
1888PressRelease - Live-IT Presents "From Theory to Practice" to Demonstrate the Ease and Benefits of Finding Less Burdensome Approaches to Create Information-Rich, Validated Computer Systems.

Newark, NJ - Today, Live-IT announced that James McGrath will present to the American Society for Quality (ASQ) on June 20. The meeting will take place at the Hilton Wilmington/Christiana in Newark, Delaware.

McGrath will speak on the topic, "From Theory to Practice," providing an overview of software quality assurance/computer system validation concepts using an actual model-computer system used as a prototype to demonstrate the processes, as well as information and documentation, that enable an organization to claim the term "validated" to describe a system.

This prototype can be the basis for experimentation to continually improve the processes to become better, faster, and less expensive. This prototype can also be used to train and retrain resources to use these processes to gain more mature capabilities.
An IT supplier who has a Quality System for its IT possesses the interface that enables a regulated company in the Life Sciences or in Finance to audit and qualify the IT supplier.

About James McGrath
James McGrath began his work in Computer System Validation (CSV) in 2001, following work as a bench chemist and as a high school science teacher. After four years of CSV contract work, McGrath became involved in ERP implementation projects and supported the implementations in operation (ITIL). McGrath continues to develop and learn, pursuing a Computer Science degree, while seeking certifications from Oracle, the Project Management Institute, and the American Society for Quality.
